The Lifeline program offers income qualified customers an exemption from the monthly Customer Service Charge, the Utility User's Tax, and a reduced rate on Electric Service.

How to Apply for the Lifeline Program
If you meet either of the two conditions above, download and complete the Lifeline application and submit it to BWP for review.
1. Download the application for the Lifeline program.
2. Fill out the application and include copies of the proper documentation. Applications must be submitted with copies of the required documentation for ALL household members.
3. Mail in, drop off, or email your application to BWP. Renewing? Click here instead.
4. BWP will follow up 6-8 weeks from the date we receive your application.
